Apache Dropout - Magnetic South (cassette rip)

"at the end of the world, why must i be a teenager?"

super sick garage psych from bloominton! lots of great old school fuzz tones with delicious reverbs and delays. really good lofi-but-not-too-lofi production. i heard my roommate listening to this tape and i was like "LET ME GET A COPY!!!" so i ripped this cassette before i realized it was online anyway. this sounds cooler, though, trust me.

Cognitive Dissonance - Omens Of Doom (new rip)

finally got my hands on a hard copy of the cog d demo, and thought i'd share a better rip of it than the one floating around. it sounds much cleaner with a lower noise floor.

Deep Six Comp

wanna hear the melvins before they got sludgy? early glammed out malfunkshun? the roots of mudhoney? this was the first release from C/Z records in 1986. full of weirdness and the incestuous pregrunge seattle scene. nostalgia certainly inflates my opinion of this album, but i fuckin love it.

i ripped it to Q7 .ogg files. open source motherfucker. your players should play nice with the files.

Paper Tulips - Small Bee Helicoper Type

i found this gem in a used bin ten years ago or so. i just found it after being unable to find it for years. it's lo-fi garage-y weirdness with killer bass lines and and dirty, sloppy guitar. i'm so happy to have found it. i can't find any of their stuff anywhere. if you've got some, gimme a holler. cheers!

silencio - dead kings

been a minute. whatever. i'm just puttin these links out into the aether. silencio is fucking AMAZING! i saw them a bunch of times when they were still together. i don't even know how to describe them. jazzcore? post-boring? it's honestly breathtaking. their guitarist jamie later played in the epically brutal metal band deadsea. if you don't download this, you're fucking stupid.
