Soophie Nun Squad - Pasizzle Slizzles Tha Drizzle FLAC
photo courtesy of xfluffyxI've had the pleasure of seeing these guys one time. I've never seen a band make kids dance uncontrollably like these motherfuckers. This is a FLAC I ripped, split into 3 parts. The album's also known as Passion Slays the Dragon.

chumbawamba - a singsong and a scrap

here are some fuckin sweet chumbawamba folk tunes. i remember having a hard time finding this one, so here it is. it's an old timey acoustic album, hatin on war, religion, capitalism, etc. here's the press release:
This new, mainly acoustic Chumbawamba album is, for the first time, a collection of songs, pure and simple. Songs with a radical voice, songs with those same old same old Chumbawamba four-part harmonies and catchy choruses, but songs nevertheless without drumloops or samples, without backwards cymbals or synth sequencers. It won't fit neatly into any categories, since it stands with its eight legs in different camps. Traditional English music, `unplugged' pop, choral secular music, jangly acoustic singalongs... oh! Just sling a few barely related words together to create categories that sound vaguely familiar, and there you'll have it.

these guys are awesome, and i would have grabbed this shit up if there were a vinyl release. so buy a CD, or better yet, find out when they're coming to your town and make sure they've got some gas to get the next show.
